South Carolinians face tough energy problems: some of the highest energy bills in the country, fossil fuels that pollute rivers where we fish and swim, and groups of decision-makers that lack diversity — just to name a few.
We have real solutions that come from the people most affected by our state’s energy decisions. Our mission is to achieve energy and climate justice in South Carolina, resulting in good jobs, lower bills, and healthier communities.

When we say “People’s” Energy Plan, we mean it. We’re building a grassroots movement to make energy work for everyone. We want everyone -- no matter their age, skin color, or zip code -- to have energy bills they can afford without giving up food, education, or other necessities. We want to breathe clean air and jump in clean streams on hot days. We want a livable climate for our children and grandchildren.
